Holi vacation was here in March 20 and I was all set for my another trip this time to down south of India, though I always plan to make one trip to south India once a year i.e. Bangalore to strengthen the ties with some wonderful people whom I met here in the year 2014-15.
This trip was planned from Bangalore > Mysuru > Ooty > Coimbatore > Thrissur > Bangalore as per the itinerary.
It was like three states Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala in 4 days. Me and my Delhite friend Yash had left for Bangalore on 7th Mar 20 during this time Coronavirus outrage had just initiated so we guys had just taken all precautions of wearing a mask and using sanitizers wherever applicable but now as we have passed the end of march 20, coronavirus🦠 has🤢 become a pandemic. So we hope it ends soon and the people around the world are saved and staying at home and keeping a distance from one another to see their children and grandchildren grow.

As we reached Bangalore which has amazing weather with clouds, rains and Sun all at the same time so one could enjoy the same. At Bangalore, we boarded the special airport buses KIS-8 from airport to electronic city at the cost of 300/- each which took another 1.6 hrs and drop us at Singasandra bus stop, our very own neighbourhood where "We the WooDieSs" had taken birth (WooDieSs is my Bangalore gang name).
Mr. Gauri MDF (my dear friend) was there to pick us in his new shining Toyota Glanza car. In Bangalore to purchase an Alcohol is never difficult you could find liquor shops after every 2-3 km. We purchased our stock of Beers, Whiskey and Rum and then landed at their hideout place situated somewhere at Electonic City Phase - 2, I met Gauri's better half "Vidhya", who is also my good friend, greeted her and she welcomed us in their new house, which was so beautiful and floors were as sparkling as a bald men's baldpate. We discussed about our plan like how it will work out and how will we go ahead with it.
To start with we had left late night by 3am for Bandipur National Park, the drive was a bit rough but was in high spirits. The roads were clean and beautiful so one could enjoy the drive.

left for the Bandipur National Park. The roads towards the park were amazing with loads of twists and turns but unfortunately, the park was closed and the park opening timings didn't match us then the motto of the trip was always to enjoy and if something didn't works out go for Plan B else Plan C keep adding and exploring.
As the park was closed, so Gawri suggested that we could also see animals on the way towards Ooty as well while going through Bandipur. I immediately nodded and said then let's go as we had limited time and days with us and we wanted to see more places in less time.
The deers were seen crossing the roads and exchanging glances with you while they were taking their sunbath and eating their grass. The white spots and the 8-9 horns of Deer looked remarkably appealing, the photo credits of the deers is to be given to Vidhya's DSLR. While we kept moving ahead in our Toyota Glanza the copycat of Baleno Car, we saw a Wild Boar which looked nice and calm.

The Bandipur National Park is also a Tiger Reserve but as we all say we hardly saw any Tigers although just to remind you that we are seeing all these animals outside the park not inside. If you really want to see a Tiger plan a trip to "Rathmbore National Park" in Rajasthan, for more information check out my last blog, click here https://bit.ly/2XsRjn
As we continue our trip further, my eyes were always either on the left side or right side of the roads which were automatically zooming in and out in search of animals as you never know if you see a Tiger here too. But what I saw at the hills of tea garden which were also to be seen on the way , where I saw a gigantic animal which resembles a Buffalo but it was the local Gaur also known as the Indian Bison, one had even came in front of our car, walking up few people sleeping beside's me i.e.Yash.
So here we all stopped by on the way to have a selfie click with the bamboo trees on the background, here I always say this like "When North meets South and together it is called India" a perfect picture.

The trip was going well as planned but few places had to be skipped not because we had no time but those were not having the right time to be visited. Rest we had also seen some beautiful falls such as
Athirappily Falls, Vazhachal Falls, Doddabetta Peak a part of Nilgiri Hills family.

To conclude it was another wonderful trip of mine where I covered so many places and left my FooT marks on my Facebook profile.
